Everton have recently officially confirmed the signing of Fabian Delph from Manchester City following an impressive stint at the Etihad Stadium.

The experienced 29-year-old midfielder arrives in a deal worth £10m and signs a three-year contract that will keep him with the Toffees until June 2022.

The Englishman domestically won it all with the Citizens, even putting two Premier League crowns in a row into his trophy cabinet.

Apart from that, he has won 20 caps for England, playing a role in their great 2018 World Cup run to the semi-finals as well as being a part of the team that reached third place in the inaugural UEFA Nations League.

Having been a part of Manchester City's family since 2015, Delph became good friends with most of his teammates and Raheem Sterling took to

It became clear in City's All or Nothing docuseries that Delph was a huge character in the dressing room and Sterling's post underlines his popularity.

Everton fans will certainly be hoping that Delph can at least master "the basics" on Merseyside and use any wisdom acquired during his time learning from Guardiola to outsmart the Spaniard when the two sides go head-to-head next season.
