It is natural for fans to feel envious of another club’s achievements, particularly if their own club has been below par over the course of the season.
Manchester City blew everyone out of the water in the Premier League as they stormed to the summit with a month to spare.
Pep Guardiola’s side finally got their hands on the trophy last week, and their last match of the season will be against Southampton this Sunday.
Not only did City secure the title, they broke a handful of records by scoring the most goals, earning the most points and recording the most wins than any other Premier League team in history.
It is a remarkable achievement, but it has not been appreciated by every football fan, with many rival supporters alluding to the fact that City have had millions of cash pumped into the club from owner Sheikh Mansour over the years.
On Twitter, football fans could not help but launch a few digs.
