The FIVE replacements for Manchester City to ponder

Whilst we at Football FanCast never like to jump on the bandwagon of wild rumours, it seems that Roberto Mancini’s tenure as Manchester City boss is set to come to an abrupt end over the next few days, with the former Premier League Champions refusing to quash speculation that the managerial axe is looming over the Italian’s head.

It seems that their defeat to Wigan Athletic, during a sensational FA Cup final, was the last straw for a club that has invested around £1 billion in player transfers in a bid to become one of the powerhouses of European football.

It’s a shame to see yet another talented manager become a victim of the Premiership’s hire and fire mentality, but thus, the show must go on, and someone must take the helm at Eastlands in time for next season.
