For those who are unaware, Manchester City impressively came from behind to overcome Arsenal during an exhilarating encounter at the Etihad Stadium last time out.

If ever there was a Premier League game that was a tale of two halves, this was it. During the first 45 minutes, City had been fully outwitted by Arsenal and the Gunners' 1-0 lead at half-time was fully deserved.

But City's remarkable turnaround began just two minutes after the break when Leroy Sane latched onto a through ball from David Silva to score and give City the opportunity to go on and win the contest.

Raheem Sterling's strike 25 minutes later sealed a victory for City and gave Pep Guardiola a much-needed win over a potential title rival.

But what can City learn from Arsenal despite this success? Some of the Londoners' approaches could be instilled in the North West rivals to make them an even better football club.

Here are THREE leaves City should take from the Gunners' guidebook...

Grow their global fanbase

One thing Arsenal can claim over Manchester City is their enormous global fanbase.

In particular, the continent of Africa has a massive Arsenal-supporting population and that is something Man City need to grow to become even bigger than their title rivals.

City's fanbase continues to increase on a global scale, but the club is still some distance from the large support the Gunners have.

Continue with one manager

Sticking with something in football is a dying trait as immediate success is craved.

During the period Wenger has been in charge at the north London outfit, City have had twelve managers and suffered relegation on two occasions.

Regardless of how tough Guardiola's tenure may become, if the manager is willing to stay in Manchester, City should remain behind him.

Discover a brand of football and stick with it

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola

Unlike at Manchester City, Arsenal have established a brand of football at the club and continue to stand by their philosophy regardless of the opposition.

Pep Guardiola continues to chop and change things at the Etihad Stadium by going with a back-three, then a back-four followed by various midfield set-ups and attacking trials on a game-by-game basis.

Guardiola is only months into his tenure at City and despite the philosophy not changing, the style of play leaves a lot to be desired. The club need to stand by their man and let him find a formula that can take them into the future.
