According to a fresh report from the Italian transfer guru Gianluca Di Marzio, Brescia's young prodigy, Sandro Tonali, has been attracting a lot of interest from multiple European giants.

One such team is Pep Guardiola's Manchester City, with the reigning Premier League champions eager to get their hands on the 19-year-old.

Still, with all of that being said, and despite the likes of Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain also prowling around the kid, Di Marzio states that Brescia president Cellino has no intention of actually letting Tonali go in the January transfer window, though he would be open to a summer sale.

But who exactly is this kid who's attracted the interest of many European giants?

Let's see what's been said about his promising career opening...

Eugenio Corini, Brescia manager

Needless to say, the current Brescia manager knows very well how big a talent he has on his hands.

After all, his efforts helped the team climb back into Serie A and win promotion, and that's just part of the reason why Corini was full of praise for his rising star.

Here's what he said, as quoted by Goal:

"Sandro has extraordinary margins to grow into. The balance with which he deals with things and how he experienced the changes of recent months is incredible.

"He has something different; we just have to accompany him towards a great career."

Marco Rossi, Hungary headcoach

Rossi has kept a close eye on his compatriot who looks bound to take the stage by storm in the not so distant future. The current Hungary manager was full of praise for Tonali, emphasising the things that set the teenager apart from the others.

He highlighted both his skills and his personality, saying that he's already a leader.

Here's what he said in full for Tuttomercato, as quoted by InsideFutbol:

"Although with different qualities, he is following in the footsteps of [Andrea] Pirlo at Brescia. He is the leader of Brescia, which is huge, and this season we will see Tonali in a big way.

"He knows how to combine quality with quantity and his personality is also one of his best qualities.

"He possesses technical and tactical abilities and in addition his boldness shows that there is a player there in his DNA who is well above average."

Sky Sports

Rossi wasn't the only one to compare Tonali to the legend that is Pirlo.

Many other outlets have followed the same route and Sky Sports also produced a player profile of their own in which they presented a similar argument.

But apart from just mentioning why he resembles one of Italy's favourite sons, they also included some of his best traits that make him such a frightening prospect.

Here's what they said in full in the report:

"The long hair is not the only trait that Tonali shares with Pirlo - both of them started out at Brescia in their early days, and were downgraded from a striker position to a role in midfield.

"Most importantly, Tonali resembles Pirlo's movement on the pitch - he's calm and collected with the ball and the quality and quantity of his passes and his creativity going into the final third have seen pundits in Italy suggest he could be the heir to Pirlo's throne.

"Tonali also takes charge of set-piece deliveries, and the most attentive viewers have even noticed how the youngster's run-up is very similar to Pirlo's."

Verdict

After hearing everything the experts have had to say on Tonali, Man City's reported interest doesn't come as much of a surprise.

Even though we're talking about a 19-year-old, the Italian starlet definitely looks like someone worth keeping an eye on in the near future.
