During this international break, a host of Premier League stars have travelled across the globe to play for their respective countries. We’ve seen a number of these players perform well, but Manchester City’s Gabriel Jesus has been one of the standouts.
Technically not a Citizen yet – his move will come into action in January – the Palmeiras forward is one of the leading talents in his homeland and despite being just 19 years of age, he’s already becoming a regular in Brazil’s XI.
And judging by this goal – his fourth in World Cup qualification action already – he’ll be around for years to come!

Granted, the Venezuelan goalkeeper, Daniel Hernandez, didn’t cover himself in glory. But the cool manner in which Gabriel Jesus chipped the ball over him really was a joy to behold.
Brazil went on to win the game 2-0, with Chelsea’s Willian scoring the other goal. The result leaves them top of the South American World Cup qualification pool.
