Premier League giants Manchester United and Arsenal are both weighing up a surprise move for Barcelona full-back Jordi Alba.
The Daily Express reports that the Spanish international will be heading for the Nou Camp exit door as new Barcelona gaffer Luis Enrique continues to stamp his mark on the side with a squad overhaul.
Alba, who is in his third season with the La Liga outfit, has made five start in the league already this season but it’s believed a bid of £25million from potential suitors would be enough to secure the former Valencia man’s services.
The 25-year-old is a left-back which suggests that Louis van Gaal is looking for a more experienced option that Luke Shaw, whilst Arsene Wenger will no doubt have injury concerns over Kieran Gibbs – who was called up to the England squad this week.
If Alba were to leave, Barcelona would be on the lookout for two new full-backs with Dani Alves confirming that he will be leaving the Spanish club at the end of his contract.
