Manchester United target Mats Hummels could already be looking to leave Borussia Dortmund, slamming the club after another loss this past weekend, Express reports.
Hummels was heavily linked with a move to United all summer, but after winning the World Cup with Germany, decided to stay with Dortmund for at least another season.
However the Red Devils are extremely keen on the 26-year-old, and are set to spend £47million to lure their priority target to Old Trafford.
Their cause has been made easier after Dortmund’s 2-1 defeat to Werder Breman on Sunday, with Hummels blasting the club’s performance as pathetic, fuelling speculation the Bayern Munich youth star is heading towards the exit.
“We’ve managed pretty well at home in recent weeks, but not at all away,” he said.
“It’s pretty astonishing that we are so pathetic.”
Dortmund finished second last season in the Bundesliga but have suffered terribly this time around, tied on points with FC Freiburg at the bottom of the table.
