Manchester United attacker Anthony Martial has vowed to continue working hard as he looks to build on his impressive start to the 2017-18 campaign.
The 21-year-old, who is valued at £31.5m by transfermarkt.co.uk, has scored six times and provided six assists in 15 appearances for United this term.
He scored the winner against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League last weekend, and also impressed against Benfica in the Champions League during the week despite missing a penalty against the Portuguese giants.
Martial’s performances have seen him earn a recall to the France squad, meanwhile, and the former AS Monaco attacker has revealed that he has been pleased with his form this season.
Martial told MUTV:
“At the moment, I’m happy, even if I could have done more, scored more goals and made more decisive passes. But I’m happy.
“I think the difference is that last year I didn’t have a good season but, for now, things are going pretty well. I’m achieving my objectives and I hope to score a lot more by the end of the season.”
United will look to close the gap on Premier League leaders Manchester City when they travel to the champions Chelsea on Sunday afternoon.
Martial is expected to drop to the bench for the match at Stamford Bridge, with Marcus Rashford starting on the left of leading scorer Romelu Lukaku.
