Thomas Muller has poured cold water over reports he could be set for a move to Manchester United, according to the Sunday Express.
The Bayern Munich star has repeatedly been linked with a huge money move to Old Trafford, with the Red Devils thought to have seen a £60m offer rejected.
Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, chief executive at the German giants, was forced to publicly request that the North West titans halt their pursuit of the 26-year old World Cup winner.
He described a move to Manchester as ‘not up for discussion’ in an interview with the Mail on Sunday.
Muller has been a mainstay in the Allianz Arena since breaking through to the first-team under current Red Devils chief Louis van Gaal.
He boasts four Bundesliga titles, three German cup and a Champions League medal despite being just 26 years of age.
The attacking midfielder was a key cog in the German side that won the 2014 World Cup in Brazil last year, and has seen rumours of a move to Old Trafford persist.
