The 5 foot 7 midfielder is just 22 years of age but already a key member of the Braga starting Xi, bagging 25 goals in 90 appearances since signing from Feirense in summer 2013.
The Portugal international’s performances in the Europa League this season have really caught the eye, notching up three goals and four assists in twelve outings as the Portuguese outfit reached the quarter-finals.
A Bola linked Silva with Liverpool and Manchester United last month and The Sun have documented their interest once again with the summer transfer window looming in.
That’s in no small part due to comments from the player’s agent Antonio Araujo, who recently told Sport Witness; “Our client, Rafa Silva, sees with very good eyes the possibility of playing in the Premier League. We are working towards achieving this objective.”
With the northwest rivals more than capable of affording Silva’s £16million release clause, the battle for his signature seemingly hinges on which club can convince the Portuguese they’re the best option for the next step in his career.
