The Spain international has bagged 26 goals in 91 appearances for the Old Lady, including five crucial strikes in Europe as they reached last season’s Champions League final.
That has convinced Real Madrid to activate a £23.6million buyback clause inserted in the deal that saw the 23-year-old swap the Bernabeu for Juventus Stadium two summers ago.
However, Los Blancos intend to immediately sell on Morata at a profit, believing they’ll fetch around £40million if they put him back on the transfer market straight away.
A number of Premier League sides are reportedly keen on signing the eight-cap international this summer, including Arsenal, Chelsea, Manchester United and Leicester City – although Morata has already ruled out a move to the latter club.
However, PSG are also chasing the 6 foot 2 hitman, with talismanic striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic confirming earlier today that he’ll leave Parc de Princes at the end of the season.
