Manchester United are preparing for a summer clear out to revitalise their squad, with Memphis Depay one of those that will head towards the Old Trafford exit door, according to The Sun.
The Red Devils have had an underwhelming campaign to date and are in a battle to finish in the top four and qualify for next season’s Champions League.
With Louis van Gaal widely expected to leave the club this summer and be replaced by a new manager, the playing personnel is set to be shaken up also.
Depay arrived at Old Trafford last summer with a big reputation but has failed to live up to his potential and has spent large portions of the campaign on the bench.
He has also been culpable of a number of costly mistakes.
The report suggests that other senior professionals such as Morgan Schneiderlin, Phil Jones, Marcos Rojo and Sergio Romero could all be shown the door if the right bid arrives.
