Boy wonder delays contract talks despite Man United deal expiring in 2017

According to reports from The Daily Mail, Marcus Rashford has decided to delay contract talks with Manchester United until the end of the season.

The 18-year-old exploded onto the scene with a brace against FC Midjtylland upon his competitive debut for the Red Devils in February and now boasts seven goals from his first 13 senior appearances.

According to The Daily Mail, the Red Devils are keen to tie Rashford down to a long-term, lucrative contract with his current terms set to expire at the end of next season.

But the England U20 is reluctant to pen fresh terms until he finds an agent. The Rashford family have been in charge of the striker’s business affairs¬†but feel he now needs professional representation.

As a consequence, Rashford has decided to delay talks over a new deal until the end of the campaign. He currently takes home just £1.5k per week Р0.58% of the earnings of team-mate Wayne Rooney.
