Bring him back… Man United old boy with stunning assist

Shinji Kagawa’s Manchester United career was one of disappointment. The Japanese playmaker arrived with a reputation as one of the planet’s best passers of the ball, but after two forgettable seasons he slipped out of the Old Trafford exit door to sign for Dortmund in 2014… whom he had left to join the Premier League giants.

There were glimpses of what he was capable of with the Red Devils, but since his Bundesliga comeback, Kagawa has been doing what he does best, and he’s done just that once again this afternoon. The Asian star played a delicious outside of the boot, curling pass across the area, leaving team-mate Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang with the simplest of tap in.

With a must win game at Liverpool tomorrow, Louis van Gaal could probably do with such creativity! Oh well, Angel di Maria should be decent at that sort of thing…
