Manchester United have contacted Fulham to enquire about the availability of Moussa Dembele, as reported by the Express.
The 19-year-old has been the Cottagers’ star performer this term and had reportedly been the subject of interest from Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich recently.
United are eager to get a deal completed in January but are reportedly prepared to wait until the summer before bringing him to Old Trafford, which is when Dembele’s Craven Cottage contract expires.
The former PSG star recently admitted he was flattered by the interest shown in him by Premier League clubs, with Tottenham and Everton also being linked with him in the past.
The Express claim Dembele is currently in talks over an improved contract at Fulham, which would significantly increase his transfer value ahead of a potential move to the Premier League.
Dembele has netted seven Championship goals this term, with Fulham currently sitting in 12th position – seven points off the play-off spots.
