Chelsea star Nemanja Matic is ready to follow Jose Mourinho to Manchester United should he get appointed as their manager, Daily Mail reports.
The 27-year-old has emerged as one of the players that could be leaving Stamford Bridge in the summer following talk of a squad overhaul upon the arrival of new boss Antonio Conte.
He was heavily linked with a potential £20million switch to Serie A champions Juventus ahead of the upcoming window, but could instead remain in the Premier League.
It is reported that the midfielder could decide to follow Mourinho to Old Trafford if United elect to part ways with current boss Louis van Gaal a year earlier than expected.
The former Blues boss is said to be the top candidate to replace the Dutchman, but Van Gaal could still stay given a number of positive results in recent weeks.
Matic has already featured in 41 matches in all competitions this term, so far scoring two goals while providing another two assists.
