England winger praises Man Utd star

Ashley Young has hailed new signing Anthony Martial after his debut goal against Liverpool, describing the youngster as ‘fantastic’, according to the Daily Mail.

The £36.6m deadline day arrival from Monaco scored a superb solo goal to put his new side 3-1 up against their bitter rivals.

England winger Young believes, ‘It was a fantastic individual bit of skill’, adding ‘the way he finished it was incredible’.

The 19-year old became the most expensive teenager in world football after signing for the Red Devils, with the deal potentially rising up to £58m if certain criteria are satisfied.

Young revealed the new man ‘doesn’t speak much English yet’, and that another summer arrival in French midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, acts as his translator around the squad.

Fellow goal scorer Daley Blind waxed lyrical about his new teammate, hailing him as ‘a real talent’ and believing the rest of the Old Trafford contingent ‘need to be happy he’s in our team and that he created a goal like this.’

The youngster had only been training with his new comrades for a few days following the international break, during which he made his full international debut for Les Blues.
