Striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has confirmed he’s signed for Manchester United on Instagram.
The former Sweden striker, who retired from international football after his side were eliminated from Euro 2016, is widely regarded as one of the greatest frontmen of his generation.
Indeed, the 34-year-old has won league honours in the Netherlands, Italy, Spain and most recently France – lifting the Ligue 1 title four times with PSG, who he is set to officially leave on a free transfer tomorrow.
Zlatan has been linked with a move to Old Trafford continuously in the build up to the summer window and has now confirmed that Manchester United will be his next club via the somewhat unconventional medium of his Instagram account.
The former Barcelona striker posted a picture of the Red Devils badge earlier today, with the caption “Time to let the world know. My next destination is @manchesterunited #iamcoming.”
That will make Ibrahimovic Jose Mourinho’s second official signing as Manchester United boss, following £30million defender Eric Bailly.
