Everton have slapped a massive £65m price tag on Romelu Lukaku amid interest from Manchester United, according to reports from The Sun.
Lukaku has been linked with a move away from Goodison Park in recent weeks, with the Red Devils having been monitoring the in-form 22-year-old this season.
But, United aren’t the only ones, with European giants Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain also interested in Lukaku’s services.
The Belgium international has already hit 19 goals in 27 games this term, and the Toffees know that it will be a battle to keep him at the club past the season.
So to ward off interest, Everton have slapped a £65m price-tag on their star asset, despite knowing of Lukaku’s desire to play in the Champions League.
Last summer, Chelsea were pressing hard to sign Toffees defender John Stones, but they snubbed all offers and are set to deploy a similar approach to keep Lukaku on Merseyside.
