Ex-Man United superstar falls foul of voodoo magic

In one of the most bizarre pieces of news in recent weeks, a Ghanaian witch doctor has extraordinarily claimed responsibility for Cristiano Ronaldo’s current injury woes.

The witch doctor, Nana Kwaku Bonsam, spoke of conjuring black magic against the reigning Ballon d’Or winner in order to aid the chances of his nation in the group stages of World Cup.

The ex-Manchester United star is battling tendinosis in his knee, and Bonsam told Angle FM radio station:

“I know what Cristiano Ronaldo’s injury is about, I’m working on him.

I am very serious about it. Last week, I went around looking for four dogs and I got them to be used in manufacturing a special spirit called Kahwiri Kapam.

I said it four months ago that I will work on Cristiano Ronaldo seriously and rule him out of the World Cup or at least prevent him from playing against Ghana and the best thing I can do is to keep him out though injury.”

Ronaldo is facing a real battle to be fit for Portugal’s opening group game against Germany on 16th June. But you never know, if black magic works against him, then maybe faith healing can work for him. Step forwards Glenn Hoddle and Eileen Drewery!
