Jose Mourinho has reportedly already drawn up a transfer wish list should he take over at Manchester United this summer, according to Spanish paper Sport.
The 53-year old Portuguese is hotly tipped to take the reins at Old Trafford at the end of the season, though no agreement has yet been reached.
However, the report claims the former Chelsea coach is already putting plans in place to add to the Red Devils’ squad should he be given the role.
He is understood have drafted a five man list in an effort to strengthen the club’s defence.
While Chris Smalling has impressed in the heart of defence, finding a consistent partner has not been an easy task.
England international John Stones is said to be a target, along with Pairs Saint-Germain’s Marquinhos and Real Madrid star Raphael Varane.
Barcelona defender Marc Bartra and Athletic Bilbao star Aymeric Laporte are believed to be among the other names.
