Fellaini starts again and Man United fans are fuming

‘Oh, please no’.

Those were the exact words I heard from over my shoulder in the bar I am currently sat in after Manchester United announced their line-up on Twitter ahead of their key clash with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge today.

Maruoane Fellaini starts again for United as he starts his second consecutive ‘big game’ for the Red Devils having been the surprise inclusion in Jose Mourinho’s side for the borefest that was the game against Liverpool last Monday night.

The mention of the name itself has an almost ‘Candyman’ ring to it – say it three times at your peril and he is likely to appear – or start a game in footballing terms.

The former Everton man’s career at United has been somewhat of a running joke up to this point, even club legend Ryan Giggs described him as a ‘panic buy’, but whoever is in charge at Old Trafford seems to favour the big centre midfielder for the big ties.

Why, you may ask? As much as I could love to answer that question I am afraid I can’t, because as far as I can see, the bumbling Belgian serves as much use as an umbrella in a hurricane.

And it seems these Manchester United fans agree, as they have taken to Twitter to vent their frustration of the inclusion of Fellaini once again …
