Patrice Evra said that Manchester United needs to win the League title this season to make up for the disaster that has been their European campaign. After a poor showing in the Champions League, United were dumped out of the Europa League by Bilbao, leaving United with only the title to aim for this season. Manchester United are in poll position to land a 20th Premier League title and Fergie is hoping that the setback in the week with be the kick up the proverbial that United need for the remaining 10 games of the season.

This week on FFC we have had a mixed bag of blogs that include a blessing in disguise for United; Fergie’s set-up doesn’t get the credit it deserves, while Sir Alex faces competition in £15m pursuit.

“Of course [United] interest me, this is a club that excites everyone, but for now my focus is on Lille, it is a pleasure to be watched by one of the best coaches [Fergie] in the world, if not the best.” Eden Hazard reacting to United’s reported interest.
