Inter Milan midfielder Fredy Guarin is attracting interest from Manchester United, according to his agent.
The Colombian international has been a rumoured target of the Premier League champions during the past few transfer windows, but no official moves have been made.
In his search for midfield reinforces over the summer, David Moyes was linked with a move for the 27-year-old, but instead swooped for Maroune Fellaini.
A January return for his signature has been rumoured, with United still keen to add to their squad following a few months of transfer frustration.
Guarin’s agent, Marcelo Ferreyra, says that his client is full committed to Inter, but that interest from the Red Devils is strong:
“Fredy is happy here. He wants to try and win things here and that’s what he is working towards. His contract expires in 2016 and that’s all there is to it.” He is quoted by The Express.
“Did Manchester United try to sign him? I can’t say, but David Moyes appreciates him.
“But for now his head is at Inter, and only Inter.”
Guarin was booed by sections of Inter’s supports during a mid-week clash with Fiorentina, which has prompted speculation that he may look to call time on his spell at the San Siro.
Could Fredy Guarin help Manchester United retain their Premier League crown?
