Louis van Gaal’s side found themselves 1-0 down after just seven minutes in the Manchester derby as Sergio Aguero gave Man city an early lead. That was until Young popped up at the other end, inadvertently controlled the ball with his bum to evade Joe Hart, and calmly slotted in the equaliser.
And the former England international didn’t stop there. A quarter of an hour later, his expertly-angled cross found Belgian battering ram Marouane Fellaini at the back post, who headed for United’s second of the afternoon.
