It has been a slow start to the season for Manchester United. Granted they dominated in their opening Premiership game against Swansea, however a 0-0 draw against Chelsea followed, and they have yet to make any headway in the transfer market.
David Moyes will certainly be feeling slightly tetchy with the lack of progress that has been achieved. Since the failed bids for Barcelona Duo Thiago and Cesc Fabregas earlier on, the Scottish manager has not done much more in the way of attempting to further add to the squad. Instead he has been battling against Chelsea to prevent them taking Wayne Rooney away from Old Trafford.
With deadline day fast approaching, he may well act irrationally in order to try and bring a new face in to the squad before it closes, but he must be very careful with this. See five players who Moyes should ensure he avoids on deadline day.
