We're lucky enough to receive a double-bill of Premier League action this week, with all 20 sides partaking in two games in the space of six days.

Everton and Arsenal kick off the fun at Goodison Park tonight and it continues tomorrow evening with a series of intriguing 8pms - not least including Manchester United's trip to Selhurst Park.

Crystal Palace and the Red Devils enter this clash with completely different aims; the former desperate to distance themselves from the relegation zone and the latter hoping to gain ground on the Premier League's summit with another win after beating Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday.

Indeed, we all know of their almost polarised league positions going into this game and their recent runs of form, but what do the numbers tell us about how the match will actually pan out?

Here are FOUR key stats every fan needs to know ahead of kickoff.

Not many points but plenty of goals

Crystal Palace may be looking nervously over their shoulders at the relegation zone but there's no doubt the Eagles have real firepower as the fifth-top scorers in the Premier League.

They proved as much during that unforgettable 5-4 affair with Swansea City last month and have actually scored seven more goals than the Red Devils this season - including a run of 15 in their last six Premier League outings.

Much of that can be traced back to star signing Christian Benteke, who is currently fifth in the Premier League's scoring charts with a return of eight in 13.

Fortunately for the Red Devils, however, they've been pretty solid at the back this season, with their goals conceded record practically mimicking Palace's goals for. Both images courtesy of Whoscored.

Wilfried Zaha

Another beneficiary of Crystal Palace's free-scoring campaign, Wilfried Zaha has been nothing short of phenomenal this season, producing the kind of form that will surely have many calling for another England cap before too long - as long as he can be tempted from switching allegiance to the Ivory Coast.

Indeed, the 24-year-old winger has already surpassed his scoring total from last season and increased his assists tally by five in just 14 appearances, whilst ranking only behind Chelsea's Eden Hazard in the Premier League's dribble charts (below courtesy of Squawka).

Most worryingly for United, the one-time Sir Alex Ferguson signing will be desperate to put in another strong display against his former club.

Crucial Carrick

He may have struggled to find a place in Jose Mourinho's plans during the opening weeks of the season but Michael Carrick has once again proved his vitality to the United cause, the Red Devils yet to lose this term with the veteran midfielder in the starting line-up.

He's provided a solid and experienced base at the foot of the engine room for the likes of Ander Herrera and Paul Pogba to advance from and the 35-year-old had a similar impact during Louis van Gaal's first season at Old Trafford, producing a 72% win ratio.

Fortunately for United fans, Carrick looks certain to start against Palace, having been in the line-up for the Red Devils' last two league fixtures.

Hapless at home

It's not hard to work out where things have been going wrong for Crystal Palace this season. Whilst the Eagles have impressed on the road, picking up eight points from eight games and netting 16 times in the process, their form at Selhurst Park has left a lot to be desired, currently third-bottom in the Premier League's home table.

They've managed just seven points at home and scored only eleven goals. If there's one silver lining, it's their positive goal difference of +1, suggesting Palace are a lot more solid at the back when surrounded by the south London faithful.

Unfortunately, however, Selhurst Park has historically been a pretty happy hunting ground for United. In fact, the Red Devils haven't lost there in their last five visits, picking up three wins and conceding only twice (courtesy of Whoscored).
