French giants eyeing Manchester United star

NaniParis Saint-Germain are plotting a late move for Manchester United winger Nani, after admitting defeat in their pursuit of Tottenham’s Gareth Bale, according to reports from The Express.

The wealthy Parisians were believed to be monitoring the Spurs midfielder, but have now given up on securing a deal with Real Madrid said to be the only club the Welshman would consider moving to.

Despite having spent big this summer, PSG are still in the market for a winger, and have highlighted Nani as the man to add pace and creativity from out wide.

The Portuguese international’s future at Old Trafford has been far from certain for some time, following a public falling out with previous manager Sir Alex Ferguson.

Despite David Moyes having taken control, it is thought that the 26-year-old is available, with youngster Wilfried Zaha having arrived from Crystal Palace.

Monaco are also keen on the flying wide-man, and have the financial muscle to lure him to the Mediterranean coast, despite possessing the tag of being a newly promoted team.

Nani is the Ligue 1 champions’ top target, but they are also thought to be keen on Real Madrid’s Angel Di Maria – who has been linked with moves to Manchester United and Manchester City.

Manchester United fans, is it time to let Nani go? Or does he still have a future at Old Trafford?
