Anthony Martial and Wayne Rooney line up together for the first time today at St. Mary’s, as the England captain returns to the side.
Fans are excited to see the pair combine, especially after Martial’s stunning debut goal against Liverpool.
Rooney behind Martial is pretty exciting to see. Our front best four playing IMO.

Memphis Depay and Juan Mata will provide the ammunition, with Rooney likely to operate behind the 19-year old as a Number 10.
Having missed last week’s North-West derby, England’s record goalscorer returned to the side having not yet scored in the Premier League.
He netted three goals in the win over Club Brugge, to secure Champions League qualification.
Very excited to see Martial again. This time up top with Rooney. Hopefully they can develop a good understanding. Come on United!

The Red Devils faithful who have travelled to the South Coast are hoping to see the start of something special for the club.
Rooney himself arrived at Old Trafford as a record breaking teenager, and the Frenchman ten years his junior became the most expensive teenager in world football when he signed from Monaco on deadline day.
