Manchester United forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic has announced he could be at the club for up to three years, according to Sky Sports.
The Red Devils ace only joined the club earlier this summer, though is surely entering the autumn of his glittering career.
At 34 years of age, the superstar Swede is largely expected to be a short-term signing as he and Jose Mourinho look to restore former glories at Old Trafford.
The extent of the deal he penned with the club has not been overly talked about, though he and Mourinho only lasted a season together at Inter Milan in 2008.
Still, one of the most decorated players in the game, he has suggested that there remains a possibility that he could stay at the Theatre of Dreams for a number of seasons.
While he refused to confirm, the former AC Milan and Barcelona star is open to the idea of making his stay in England a lengthier one.
”Let’s see what happens. You never know. It could be more than two, it could be more than three, let’s see how long I feel like I can perform”, said Paris Saint-Germain’s record goalscorer.
”I will not be somewhere only because I am Ibrahimovic. I will be somewhere because I can perform and bring results.”
