HYS: Is Josh King good enough to fire Manchester United into the top four?

According to a recent report from The Sun, Manchester United interim manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is keen on making a January move for Bournemouth striker and former United man Josh King.

Here at Football FanCast though, we want to know whether King is good enough to fire the Red Devils back into the top four during the second half of the Premier League season.

The now 26-year-old joined United back in 2008, but he was sent on five separate loan spells away and eventually made just two substitute appearances for the first-team – totalling just 14 minutes – before he moved to Blackburn permanently in 2013.

Now at Bournemouth, although King is a key player, he has only netted 37 goals in 123 appearances and he may not be enough of an upgrade on Romelu Lukaku to restore United to the top four.

King would surely be keen to reunite with his fellow Norwegian Solskjaer, who he worked with as a youngster at Old Trafford, but The Sun claim that King is valued at £25m by Bournemouth.

So, United fans, would you support a move for King in January? Have your say by voting in the poll below.
