There has been a lot of talk in recent weeks about Jose Mourinho’s tactics, particularly in relation to getting the best out of Paul Pogba. So what formation should he play against Chelsea?

When United host Chelsea on Sunday, there is no doubt Mourinho will want to field his strongest eleven. United fans are desperate to see players like Alexis Sanchez and Anthony Martial unleashed on their top four rivals, but also want the defensive stability that is almost a guarantee in a Mourinho system.

When it comes to Pogba, most fans would agree he’s at his best as the most advanced in a midfield three, although Pogba has said in the past he is most comfortable on the left of a three.

There is also the chance we could see a 4-2-3-1, with Pogba either as the number ten or one of the deeper two. Failing that, Mourinho has experimented with a back three at times, and plenty of managers have matched up with the Blues since Antonio Conte first introduced 3-4-3 at the start of last season.

So, Manchester United fans, what formation would you like to see Mourinho deploy on Sunday? Let us know by voting below...
