Manchester United duo Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Paul Pogba have taken a lot of criticism this season, and for good reason, but the latest statistic to emerge suggests that we may all be being a bit too harsh on them.
Ibrahimovic, having scored four in his opening four matches in the Premier League, has struggled to find the net recently amidst United’s woeful run of just one win in their last six matches.
Meanwhile, Pogba has scored just once in the league since his world record return to Old Trafford, but the pair are at least getting involved…

Unfortunately for Manchester United fans, despite the pair having completed the most through balls in the league this season, their efforts are yet to yield results as neither of the duo boast a Premier League assist.
Sat eight points behind the leading pack, Manchester United need more out of their summer signings if they’re to even fight for a top-four place this season, but this statistic is at least a minor piece of good news.
