Dwight Yorke and Andy Cole were once arguably the most deadly strike-force in Europe, helping fire Manchester United to three Premier League titles and a Champions League title, amongst other honours, during their potent spell together at Old Trafford.

But the former ‘brothers-in-goalscoring-arms’ will find themselves facing each other on behalf of opposing factions this summer, when they meet at The Belfry on 23rd-25th June for ICONS of Football 2017. Cole will be representing England under captain Lee Westwood, whilst Yorke is part of Darren Clarke's Rest of the World Team.

Which begs the question of how the now-disbanded duo fared individually throughout their illustrious careers. And although Cole finished his playing days with greater goals and silverware, it was Yorke who made the bigger impression on the international stage - representing Trinidad and Tobago on 72 occasions.

That suggests a close-knit encounter should Cole and Yorke end up teeing off against each other this summer. Also famed for their prolific finishing, both will fancy their chances at the £1million Swing - where any icon who hits a hole-in-one will win a seven-figure sum for their chosen charity!
