Paul Pogba's agent Mino Raiola has been sounding out other clubs about a possible move from Manchester United for his client, according to Sports Illustrated.

What's the word?

At the moment, it seems impossible to flick through the back pages of a newspaper or scroll through pages of a sports website without reading about Pogba.

The relationship between the Frenchman and his manager Jose Mourinho has dominated headlines in recent weeks.

The £89m man has not played a full 90 minutes since January 20 when United defeated Burnley 1-0 in the Premier League.

Mourinho has insisted to the media that he has no issue with Pogba, but has claimed that the midfielder can improve.

According to Sports Illustrated, the former Juventus star's agent Raiola has contacted other clubs with the idea of persuading them to make a move in the summer.

The outlet adds that at the moment, no other clubs are interested in making a move for United's star man.

What will happen next?

At the moment, it is anybody's guess!

However, if there is a rift between Pogba and Mourinho, judging from past incidents, it will not end well.

The Portuguese coach has previously fallen out with figures at other clubs and ultimately he has led to his premature exit.

With regards to Pogba, if he continues to be dropped, then a player of his calibre will feel that he deserves to be one of the first names on the teamsheet.

None of us know what is going on behind closed doors, but the manager is certainly not getting the best out of him in terms of positioning.

Pogba thrives in a 4-3-3 system, which allows him to push forward and provide more in an attacking sense.

Being part of a midfield two has not worked in his favour so far, and time will tell with regards to the player's relationship with Mourinho.
