Joao Felix scores hat-trick for Benfica, Man United fans want club to sign him

Benfica attacker Joao Felix continued his amazing breakthrough season with a hat-trick and an assist in his side’s 4-2 Europa League win against Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday night, and his display didn’t go unnoticed by Manchester United fans on Twitter who want their club to sign him.

The 19-year-old scored once from the penalty spot, netted twice more and also assisted Ruben Dias in his 90 minutes on the pitch, as he really introduced himself on the biggest stage.

It took the teenager’s goal tally for the season to 15 in 36 appearances in all competitions, while he has provided a further seven assists.

The versatile forward, who can play on either wing or behind the striker, is one of the most exciting young talents in Europe right now, and it would be no surprise if bigger clubs are taking a look at him.

It remains to be seen whether he a move to Old Trafford could happen, but Portuguese media outlet Record reported in March that the Red Devils had scouted Felix so they are clearly aware of him.
