A number of Manchester United fans have begged their club to sign James Maddison from Leicester City as soon as possible.

The 22-year-old, who has been linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent weeks, scored a stunner against Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.

Indeed, the attacker's late goal decided the contest at the King Power Stadium, and a whole host of United supporters took to social media during the Premier League affair.

According to WhoScored, in addition to finding the back of the net, Maddison had four dribbles and managed four shots during an all-action performance.

The strike against Spurs was Maddison's first in the Premier League this season, although he did net against Newcastle United in the EFL Cup late last month.
