Danny Mills might not be everyone’s first port of call when it comes to sourcing Liverpool opinions and he won’t have put himself in Reds’ fans good books with his latest verdict.
During a recent interview with talkSPORT, a bastion for absurd opinions and claims, the former Leeds and Manchester City midfielder questioned whether Jurgen Klopp’s one trophy, the Champions League, would be enough to put the German amongst the Liverpool greats. Mills played for 14 years and won one trophy, the League Cup (often considered the Micky Mouse cup).
