Manchester United recorded a huge victory at Stamford Bridge on Monday night as they managed to snatch all three points and once again underline their quality on the road.
Harry Maguire was at the heart of it all, bagging a goal for his team to double their lead and secure the triumph for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and his troops.
Of course, quickly after the match, the Man United skipper posted a new snap on Instagram, celebrating the three points and another great day at the office.
Given this was a great performance in which the Red Devils not only secured the victory but also managed to keep a clean sheet with Maguire leading the way, it wasn’t really surprising to see a handful of stars flooding his comment section.
James Maddison and Robert Snodgrass both congratulated the defender on a huge victory in the Premier League.
Both players, of course, have played with Maguire in the past – Maddison at Leicester City and Snodgrass during his time at Hull City.
It’s unlikely that the West Ham playmaker could ever have envisaged such a scenario unfolding all those years ago.
Indeed, Maguire has come a long way to eventually wear the captain’s armband for one of world football’s most prestigious and historically successful clubs.
