Man United ace ready to demand shock exit, set for crunch talks this week

According to reports from The Sun, Adnan Januzaj will demand to leave Manchester United if Jose Mourinho can’t assure him a role in the first team squad next season.

The 21-year-old exploded onto the scene under David Moyes, grabbing a stunning brace against Sunderland upon his first start in the Premier League.

That heralded a call-up to the Belgium national team but the six-cap international has endured a spectacular fall from grace since.

The winger struggled for form during the 2014/15 campaign and managed just six Bundesliga appearances on loan at Borussia Dortmund last season – before having his season-long spell cut short in January 2016.

According to The Sun, Januzaj doesn’t want to go out on loan again next season and will tell Jose Mourinho he wants to leave the club unless assurances are made over first-team football.

Crunch talks over the youngster’s future will take place this week, but United remain hopeful they can convince Januzaj to join a Premier League club on loan for the 2016/17 campaign.
