Manchester United have parted ways with Anderson after he terminated his current deal with the club and is set to undergo a medical at Brazilian side Internacional, Daily Mail reports.
The 26-year-old made his switch to Old Trafford back in 2007 but failed to secure any sort of regular role in the squad.
Louis van Gaal earlier revealed that the club didn’t require the services of Anderson as he was linked with an exit ever since the start of the current campaign.
Internacional are said to have offered the midfielder wages of around £25,000-a-week after tax and around £650,000 in bonuses.
He has only made one substitute appearance in the Premier League this season, featuring for an unimpressive 20 minutes, one of the factors which eventually led to the termination of his current deal at United.
The Red Devils flop is now in Porto Alegre, Brazil to finalise all the potential details of his switch in a bid to end his Premier League nightmare.
