Manchester United and Arsenal will go head-to-head in a battle to land Paris Saint-Germain defender Marquinhos this summer, according to the Sunday Mirror.
The two titans of English football are reportedly keeping tabs on the 21-year old’s apparent frustration in the French capital as they weigh up a potential summer move.
Much of the player’s frustration is believed to have stemmed from largely playing out of position this season, in a less familiar right-back berth.
While with former club Roma, the Brazilian international excelled in more central positions, prompting the Parisians powerhouses to make a £25m move back in 2013.
He is said to have reacted angrily to starting on the bench for Laurent Blanc’s side to play Manchester City in the Champions League and will consider his future this summer.
