Man United and Chelsea join race for French ace

Premier League rivals Manchester United, Chelsea and Manchester City are all battling to secure the signature of £75m-rated Paul Pogba in the summer, according to the Daily Mirror.

Pogba plies his trade at Italian giants Juventus and his eye-catching performances for the Turin club have led many to regard him as a future world-beater.

The 21 year-old joined Juve on a free transfer from Manchester United in 2012, and has made 22 appearances in all competitions for The Old Lady this season, scoring seven times.

However, Juventus are believed to be ready to offload the Frenchman to make a hefty profit. As well as former club Man United – not to mention Chelsea and Man City – European giants Real Madrid, PSG and Bayern Munich are also monitoring his situation carefully.

If Pogba is eventually sold for the £75m fee that is being mooted, it would make him one of the most expensive footballers of all time.
