Man United and PSG consider earth shattering £50m striker exchange

Manchester United and Paris Saint-Germain are considering a sensational player exchange between two top striking talents, according to Italian publication Tuttomercatoweb.

A deal that would see Edinson Cavani move to Old Trafford as Anthony Martial travels in the other direction is reportedly being discussed.

PSG’s Uruguayan marksman has repeatedly been linked with a hugely expensive move to the Premier League over the course of the last few years.

Despite establishing himself as one of the top forwards on the continent, the former Napoli man has largely played fiddle to Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the French capital.

Juventus are also understood to be keen on acquiring his services and Chelsea have also been touted as a potential destination.

However, with the Ligue 1 champions being one of the richest clubs in the world, they are in no rush to sell.

Instead, the Parisians could use their £50m striker as leverage in a deal to bring Marital back to France.

The 20-year old only joined the Manchester giants in the summer, arriving from Monaco in a £36.6m deal that saw him become the most expensive teenager in world football.

A player with huge amounts of potential, he is widely regarded as one of the brightest prospects in French football.
