Manchester United are likely to offload both Radamel Falcao and Robin van Persie this summer, according to former Old Trafford star Paul McGrath.
The pair were both expected to play big roles under Louis van Gaal this season, but they have notched only 14 goals between them – of which the Colombian has netted only four.
Falcao’s loan deal is unlikely to be extended or turned into a permanent deal when the campaign ends, while RVP has been heavily linked with a move way from United over the course of the past few days.
And McGrath believes that the duo will leave this summer:
“Without a doubt, he’ll [Falcao] be gone.” He told talkSPORT.
“Robin Van Persie might be off as well, even with the Dutch connection with Van Gaal.”
Van Persie will be 32 next season, and his performances have been on a downward trajectory since the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson in 2013.
Falcao meanwhile has struggled to recover from a serious knee injury suffered in early 2014, which ruined his debut season with Monaco.
