Manchester United marched onto their third consecutive victory in all competitions whilst securing a ninth consecutive game undefeated but their timely result against Crystal Palace last night also put an end to a poor run of form.
Prior to their visit to Selhurst Park, Manchester United had not won a Premier League game in London since defeating the same opposition in May 2015- although that obviously excludes United’s FA Cup victory over the Eagles at Wembley earlier this year.

Failing to get results against the likes of Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal and even West Ham on their travels to the capital, Manchester United will be hoping that this is the first step to enjoying better visits down South throughout the remainder of the campaign.
The Red Devils will next be in London to tackle West Ham at the beginning of January, which will be their only Premier League game in the capital until May- when the Gunners face back-to-back fixtures against Arsenal and Spurs.
