Darmian was the latest piece of fat to be trimmed from United’s side when he signed for Serie A outfit Parma. The 29-year-old joins a long list of names to leave Old Trafford under the Norwegian including Antonio Valencia, Alexis Sanchez, Ander Herrera, Romelu Lukaku, Smalling and Marouane Fellaini.
Credit to the man, he went about his business at United as a true professional and never once kicked up a fuss despite rarely featuring towards the end of his stint. Genuinely seems like one of football’s nice guys.
