The 28-year-old avoided prison for crashing his Ferrari while under the influence of alcohol just outside his homeland’s capital city, Santiago, but has been banned from driving.
The whole saga has been big news on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean, and reports claim that his reckless actions have cost Vidal a big summer transfer.
Real Madrid are believed to have pulled out of a deal worth in excess of £25m for the box-to-box star, while Man United have dropped their long-term interest in the Juve man.
It’s also believed that his notorious wild lifestyle is seen as an issue, with the player known to have a penchant for late night partying.
United tracked Vidal for much of the summer of 2014, but were unable to get a deal done as he opted to stay in Turin.
