Some Manchester United fans have taken to Twitter to express their anger at Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's selected starting XI against Newcastle, with three players under the spotlight.

The supporters in question were not happy after seeing Ashley Young, Andreas Pereira and Juan Mata named in the XI for the trip to St James' Park.

Young, who started at left-back on the day, was presumably playing due to Aaron Wan-Bissaka's absence because of Tonsillitis, although there isn't as clear-cut a reason for Pereira and Mata's inclusion.

One fan said that "this man" - seemingly referring to Solskjaer - has no bottle after seeing the lineup, while another tweeted that it was a "decent line-up" apart from the trio in question.

The supporters had a reason for being so livid with the trio's inclusion, as United lost 1-0 to Newcastle with all three of them doing little to inspire a different result.

Let's take a look at some more of the Twitter reaction from the visibly angered Man United fans...
